My story with the mountains began far away from them: I grew up in Normandy. Childhood ski trips soon sparked a fascination with ski touring and the idea of leaving the pistes to explore the mountains.
After moving to Haute-Garonne, ski touring led me deeper into hiking. Summer walks became more frequent and the mountains gradually took a central place in my life.
Climbing has been part of my life since secondary school, and mountaineering naturally followed. Hiking, climbing, ski touring and mountaineering now let me experience the mountains in different ways.
Curiosity made me want to understand the places I crossed: their wildlife and plants, the different mountain environments, pastoral life and local history.
The more I learnt, the more I wanted to share. That desire, together with my passion for the mountains, led me to become a qualified mountain leader.
Today I continue to explore, learn and satisfy my curiosity. When I guide, I enjoy sharing that same mixture of adventure, discovery and attention to the living mountain.
